今回のいわき展にもお目見えしたこの作品を、私は密かに「超新星」と名付けています。宇宙の中で突如として恒星が爆発を起こす。でも、それは終わりであって始まりでもある。田中作品は、その生命の始まりを感じさせるのです。
I secretly call this artwork, which appeared in this Iwaki exhibition, a "supernova". A star suddenly explodes in space. But it's the end and the beginning. Tanaka's artwork makes us feel the beginning of that life.
